HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY
EVENING...
* WHAT...Southeast winds 35 to 55 mph with gusts up to 75 mph
possible.
* WHERE...Eastern Aleutians.
* WHEN...From Monday evening through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...High winds could move loose debris, damage property,
and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will start from the east-southeast
Monday evening and turn more southerly to southwesterly during
the day Tuesday. Strongest winds are expected to be late Monday
night into Tuesday morning, especially for Dutch Harbor and
Unalaska.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A high wind watch means there is potential for a hazardous high
wind event. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates
