INCIDENT: Possession of Cocaine for Sale
LOCATION: 500 block of Knight Avenue, Big Bear Lake
SUSPECT(S): Treavor Cortenbach, 34-year-old resident of Big Bear Lake
VICTIM(S): People of the State of California
SUMMARY: Deputies assigned to the Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) obtained information 34-year-old Treavor Cortenbach sold cocaine in the Big Bear area. Deputies conducted an investigation and identified a residence where Cortenbach possessed the cocaine. The residence was in the 500 block of Knight Avenue, Big Bear Lake. A search warrant was authored and granted for the location.
On December 28, 2023, deputies served the search warrant and detained Cortenbach. Deputies located approximately 27 small baggies, each containing white powder consistent with cocaine, and other items indicative of drug sales. The total amount of cocaine was estimated over an ounce in weight.
Cortenbach was arrested for Health and Safety Code 11351(A) - Possession of Narcotics for Sale, and was booked into the Big Bear Jail. Cortenbach has since posted bail and is out of custody. Cortenbach has an arraignment hearing in this matter scheduled for Feburary 14, 2024, in San Bernardino County Superior Court.
