Who Killed Malachi Lopez: Investigators Need Public's Help. 
Homicide investigators need the public’s help for information in the murder of a local man.
On Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m., patrol deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office responded to a shooting at the Cashel Springs apartments located at 14222 Wunderlich in north Harris County.
When deputies arrived they located, 20 year-old Malachi Lopez, who had suffered a gunshot wound. Lopez was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
No suspect information was available at the time of the incident. The following morning, Lopez was pronounced deceased.
The Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit was contacted and investigators took over the case.
HCSO Investigators have not been able to determine a motive for the shooting, and no witnesses to the incident have been located.
