1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1253) El Dorado Street and Alpine Avenue, Civic District
The victim, 67, and his 14-year-old son were driving near the intersection when the suspect shot them with a pellet gun. The victims went to a local hospital to seek treatment for their non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: White adult male.
2. Traffic Fatality (1300) West Hammer Lane and Montauban Avenue, Valley Oak District
The male driver, 75, was driving in the area when he collided with another vehicle. Medics transported the driver to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Traffic officers responded to assist with the investigation.
