* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE...Municipality of Skagway and Haines Borough and Klukwan, including the Haines and Klondike Highways.

* WHEN...From noon today to noon AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The greatest snow accumulations will be along the Higher elevations of the Haines and Klondike Highways. The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between late afternoon Wednesday and late Wednesday night. Freezing rain may mix in for the town of Haines Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
