Deputy William Guzman with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 32-year-old Timothy Scott Noblitt with felonious Possession of Methamphetamine, felonious Possession of a Controlled Substance on Jail Premises and Resisting a Public Officer. Noblitt was issued a $20,000 secured bond.
On December 20th, deputies responded to an Old Fort residence for a possible suicidal subject. Upon arrival they located Noblitt who was placed under arrest for outstanding warrants. Once at the jail, Noblitt assaulted a detention officer during a search which turned up methamphetamine.
