The female victim, 69, was withdrawing money from an ATM machine when the suspect forced the victim to give him money and fled. Responding officers located the suspect and took him into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Gonzalo Villanueva, 33, for robbery.
2. Person Shot (1312) 500 Block of Garden Avenue, Park District
The male victim, 30, argued with the suspect when the suspect shot him. The victim was transported to an area hospital to treat his non-life-threatening gunshot wound. SUSPECT: Hispanic male in his thirties.
