Wilmington Police have arrested a man on his fourth offense of driving under the influence of alcohol.
On December 27, at approximately 4:51 p.m., members of the Wilmington Police Traffic Division were in the 1000 block of Bennett Street, when they observed a motor vehicle commit a traffic violation. Police conducted a vehicle stop in that block and made contact with the driver – 38-year-old Patrick Myers of Felton. Following a brief investigation, police took Myers into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Myers has been charged with the following offense in addition to traffic violations:
- Fourth Offense Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $2,050 secured bail.
