The Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide investigators need the public’s help in identifying murder suspects and the vehicle involved in a road rage incident that occurred on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at approximately 4:08 p.m., in east Harris County.
21-year-old, Angel Muniz-Acosta died of his injuries, and his 21-year-old female passenger was not injured in the incident.
According to eyewitnesses the victim was reversing out of a private driveway located on Muscatine Street; as the suspects' vehicle, a silver-colored 4-door, Toyota Camry is seen turning on Muscatine Street a short distance away from a business known as Tacos Toro #2 (located on Freeport Street). The suspects’ vehicle was traveling in a high rate of speed as it swerved around an SUV.
The two vehicles met up on the roadway just a short distance away Freeport Street. The suspects' vehicle then slows down, and a male suspect is seen pointing a handgun at the victim’s vehicle.
Shortly after the victims vehicle drove off into a ditch, as the suspect vehicle fled the scene westbound on Muscatine Drive, in a silver, 4 door, Toyota Camry.
