On Sunday, January 14, from 6:30 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m., the Jekyll Island Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K will take place. Beachview Drive North, beginning at the Jekyll Island Convention Center, Shell Rd, and Southbound lanes on Riverview Dr. North of Baker Rd will experience temporary road closures during this time. Temporary traffic delays may be experienced along Captain Wylly Rd.
Be advised that there will be brief traffic delays and road congestion throughout the island, as the races occur. Bicyclists and pedestrians should use caution when sharing the paths with race participants and may also experience momentary delays. Please plan your travels ahead of time and use caution while driving around the island.
