On Saturday, January 27, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Winter Carnival & Big Truck Round-Up, presented by the Beach Village Merchants, will take place in the Beach Village on Jekyll Island.
Main Street and Ocean Way will be closed at 5:00 a.m. before the event and will reopen upon clearing out of vehicles and event equipment.
Parking is available at Corsair Beach Park, Great Dunes Beach Park, the Jekyll Island Convention Center Parking Lot, and the surrounding Beach Village.
Big Truck Round-Up vehicle sirens will be silenced.
