SUMMARY: On January 4, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m., an unidentified suspect entered the Wells Fargo bank on Soquel Canyon Parkway. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money from the teller. The teller complied, and the suspect stole a large sum of U.S. currency before fleeing from the bank.
Deputies and detectives responded to the bank, where they developed investigative leads and collected evidence. The suspect was not immediately located and the investigation is ongoing. No one was injured during the armed robbery.
