SUMMARY: As we start 2024, have you or someone you know considered a new career? Maybe a career where you have a steady income, medical and dental benefits, and retirement. Have you considered a career in law enforcement.
A Deputy Sheriff performs many functions in the community, including patrol, criminal investigations, and traffic enforcement. Deputies also help at community events, at schools, and at times assist in medical situations until medical personnel arrive.
On Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 12:02 a.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a 911 medical aid call at a residence in the 17900 block of Kendall Circle in Adelanto.
Deputies arrived at the residence before medical personnel and located a 31-year-old female in labor. Deputies quickly learned her water broke a couple hours earlier. At 12:16 a.m., prior to medical personnel arriving, Deputy J. Rowley assisted the female in delivering her baby. Mom and baby were transported by American Medical Response (AMR) to a local hospital.
Deputy Rowley is a military veteran and has military medical training. We are honored to have him working at the Victor Valley Station. Great job Deputy Rowley!
