WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 1 PM EST SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
of up to one inch and ice accumulations of up to two tenths of
an inch.
* WHERE...Portions of the foothills of North Carolina.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 1 PM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Precipitation will begin after midnight
across the foothills of North Carolina, most likely as a period
of sleet possibly mixed with light snow. A transition to light
freezing rain is expected before daybreak, then to rain by late
morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
