Wilmington Police have arrested two male juveniles and recovered a stolen motor vehicle.
On January 2, at approximately 8:35 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 2300 block of North Pine Street, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located a stolen motor vehicle in that block. Officers attempted to make contact with two occupants of the vehicle who fled on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, police took two 14-year-old male juveniles into custody without incident.
The first 14-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in New Castle County Family Court and was released on $3,000 unsecured bail.
