Winter Storm Ember is expected to impact our area starting tomorrow afternoon. The latest forecast for Leonia calls for a mix of rain and snow.  Because of the uncertainty of the storm, we are asking you to plan now in case of significant snow accumulation. 

Please help the Department of Public Works by following all parking regulations. Alternate side of the street parking is strictly enforced during snow storms. Plan ahead and remove your vehicle from streets that are covered by the Borough's "No Parking in Snow Emergencies" ordinance (B.O. 194-9). As per 194-9, a snow emergency shall exist as soon as snow has accumulated on the street. Vehicles in violation of 194-9 may be summonsed and impounded. We do not want to summons and impound vehicles during a snow storm and ask for your cooperation. Vehicles that usually park on Snow Emergency streets may park in municipal lots.  For additional information on the Snow Emergency ordinance and a list of streets covered by the ordinance, please go to the Borough's website-
