Winter Storm Parking Ban

 

 

Citywide Parking Ban in Effect Saturday:

The City of Somersworth has declared an emergency parking ban; no on-street parking will be allowed-beginning on Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 p.m. and concluding on Sunday, January 7 at 11:00 p.m.

 

All vehicles parked on City Streets will be ticketed and towed while the ban is in effect.

 

Downtown – Business District – Ban will be lifted on Sunday, January 7 at 8:00 a.m. :

 

While in effect, parking will be allowed on the following business district streets in the downtown area Only starting on Sunday, January 7 at 8:00 a.m.

 

·        High Street (Constitutional Way to Market St. at the Bridge)

·        Main Street (Washington St. to Market St. at the Bridge)

·        Market Street

·        Washington Street

·        Constitutional Way

·        Government Way

·        Station Street

·         John Parsons Drive

    

 A winter storm watch is in effect for Somersworth from late Saturday night through Sunday early morning.
