On December 21st, 2023, probation conducted a home visit in the Valley Springs Castle Rock Mobile Home Park at the residence of 59-year-old Cas Young, who is on probation out of Calaveras County.  During a search of the home, probation officers and deputies discovered drug paraphernalia, drug sales paraphernalia, and prepackaged methamphetamine.  Both Young and 45-year-old Angela Stark were taken into custody and booked into the Calaveras County Jail for possession of a controlled substance for sale and drug paraphernalia.  In total, under a half ounce of methamphetamine was seized.
