Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé reports that an arrest warrant has been issued for Kizzy Polk, 46, of Newark, who is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon when she cut the victim with a box cutter on January 3, 2024.
At approximately 6:49 p.m., the victim heard a knock at her front door at Bradley Court, an apartment complex located on N. Munn Avenue. When she answered, Polk, later identified as the suspect, used the box cutter to slash the victim on her forehead and cheek. The victim was treated at University Hospital.
Polk, known to frequent Chelsea Avenue in Newark, is described as a Black female, 5’5” and 200 pounds with brown eyes, black hair, and a medium complexion.
