SUSPECT(S): Ociel Calixto Del Carmen, a 40-year old resident of Pomona

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, January 2, 2024, Chino Hills Sheriff's Station deputies responded to a service call regarding a vehicle theft in the 4000 block of Mission Boulevard in unincorporated Montclair. A male suspect stole the victim's vehicle by force. Deputies conducted an investigation and gathered evidence. Through investigation, the suspect was identified as Ociel Calixto Del Carmen, a resident of Pomona.
On Thursday, January 4, 2024, Montclair Police Department officers contacted Calixto Del Carmen during a traffic stop. Chino Hills deputies assigned to the Multiple Enforcement Team responded to the traffic stop and assumed the investigation. Calixto was arrested for carjacking. At the time of Calixto's arrest, he was with an adult female associate who was also arrested for transporting narcotics for sale.
