1. Battery on an Officer (0430) 500 Block of South Pershing Avenue, Civic District
Officers responded to the listed location on a report of a physical altercation. The suspect kicked a medic and an officer. A baton was utilized to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Stephen Wait, 49, for battery on an officer and resisting arrest.
2. Resting Arrest (1143) Church Street and San Joaquin Street, Civic District
Officers attempted to detain the suspect in the listed area. The suspect fled and a taser was utilized to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Carl Callegri, 63, for resisting arrest and narcotics charges.
3. Pursuit Arrest (1214) Serrano Way and Villa Drive, Park District
Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle in the listed area. The vehicle fled, leading officers on a short pursuit. The vehicle came to a dead-end street and the suspect was taken into custody. ARRESTED:
15-year-old juvenile for pursuit and possession of a stolen vehicle.
4. Persons shot (1312) 1200 Block of East hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victims, 25 and 30, were in the listed area when they were shot by the two suspects. Both victims were transported to an area hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Two unknown race male adults.
