* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches below 7500 feet, 6 to 12 inches above 7500 feet with locally higher amounts of up to 18 inches near the Colorado border. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Far Northwest Highlands, Jemez Mountains, Northwest Highlands, Tusas Mountains Including Chama, Chuska Mountains, Northwest Plateau, West Central Mountains, and West Central Plateau.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 8 AM MST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Check road conditions before heading out. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected during the day Sunday into Sunday night. Areas of blowing snow are possible during this period.
