1. Homicide (1626) 1400 Block of Julian Street, Park District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a person shot and located three male victims, 20, 19, and 17, with gunshot wounds. All three were transported to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries. One of the victims later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The other two were in stable condition. There is no
suspect information.
2. Traffic Fatality (0332) Pershing Avenue and Brookside Road, Lakeview District
The male decedent, 23, was driving in the area when his vehicle collided with a light pole. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries. Three other occupants in the vehicle also sustained minor to moderate injuries. Traffic officers responded to take over the investigation.
