* WHAT...Southeast winds tonight shifting west-northwesterly on Monday behind passage of Pacific front. Wind speeds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. The higher elevations in the Hill Country and Southern Edwards Plateau could see a few gusts near 55 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Texas including the Rio Grande, southern Edwards Plateau and Hill Country.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A temporary lull in wind speeds will be likely around and just ahead of the passage of the Pacific front.
