* WHAT...Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Potomac River at Shepherdstown.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, River Road is completely flooded in low spots between Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. Significant portions of the C&O Canal towpath are flooded between McMahons Mill and Dam Number Four. At 16.0 feet, Water goes over the banks of the Potomac near the mouth of the Opequon River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM EST Monday the stage was 3.0 feet, or 12.0 feet below flood stage. - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached early Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Please visit weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information
