* ANOTHER HIGHLY IMPACTFUL STORM COMING * THREAT TIME: TUESDAY 3:00 PM - WEDNESDAY 3:00 AM
Right after this weekend's coastal storm, we have another system moving in and it is powerful. Wintry weather isn't the concern, but rather rain and wind. It was an extremely wet December and now after we just saw heavy snow/rain this weekend, the stage is set for heavy rain to cause significant flooding issues. Rain builds through tomorrow and the heaviest will come during the evening. Much of the 2.00 - 3.50" storm total will take place in a 6-hour window (5 PM - 1 AM) and this will cause flooding of all varieties to occur Tuesday Night, lingering into Wednesday AM even after the rain quickly tapers in the pre-dawn. This will be similar, if not a little worse than the December 17-18 flooding event. Also, wind gusts out of the SSE do get strong enough that some power outages and a few downed trees can occur Tuesday Evening / Early Night.

FLOODING PROBLEMS
While stream & river flooding is most concerning, downpours Tues Eve until around Midnight will lead to some flooded roads, particularly low-lying and prone areas.

Rivers will also flood, again similarly to the mid-Dec event. That means some reach "moderate" to near "major" flood stage. Peak river heights coincide and follow the heaviest rain, so issues can last into Wed (some larger rivers, even Thurs).
