Significant Storm to Impact Neptune City Tuesday Bringing Damaging Winds & Heavy Rain
Beginning Tuesday midday and continuing into Wednesday morning, we are expecting a significant storm to impact most of NJ which is expected to bring strong, damaging winds over 60 mph as well as up to 4" of rain and coastal flooding to Neptune City. This storm is forecasted to be much more impactful than the recent storms, and may result in urban flooding similar to September 2023's storm, with the additional hazards caused by the much stronger winds. This storm is projected to be at its strongest between 6:00PM Tuesday and 2:00AM on Wednesday.
Be prepared.
* Do not drive through flooded roads, regardless of weather the road is open or closed.
* Secure all loose outdoor items and decorations.
* Charge electronics and flashlights in the event of power outages.
