* WHAT...Heavy snow, periods of blizzard conditions and freezing rain expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches and ice accumulations of one quarter of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Visibility one quarter mile or less at times.

* WHERE...Lower Yukon River and Lower Yukon and Innoko Valleys.

* WHEN...From 9 AM Wednesday to 9 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snow and periods of blizzard conditions are expected to develop Wednesday morning and continue into Wednesday afternoon. Mix snow and freezing rain is expected to develop Wednesday night and continue into Thursday.
