Coastal Flood Warning until 11:00AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Minor to moderate coastal flooding. One foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines, with localized inundation up to 2 feet.

* WHERE...Coastal Hancock and Coastal Washington Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 AM to 11 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Inundation could affect locations such as Deer Isle Causeway, Oak Point Causeway on Deer Isle, Machias, Stonington, Bangor and South Lubec. Large breaking waves will cause overtopping of exposed coastal roadways, allowing large rocks to cause damage to vehicles. Areas of concern include but are not limited to, Schoodic Point and Seawall Road. Road debris and minor road damage could close some roadways. Beach erosion is expected at locations such as Roque Bluffs.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COASTAL HANCOCK ... COASTAL WASHINGTON
