TO ALL TOWNS NORTH AND SOUTH OF PEQUANNOCK THAT ENCOMPASS STATE ROUTE 23
Based on current National Weather Service (NWS) predictions, Pequannock Township is expecting a MAJOR FLOOD EVENT due to the impending storm. With the projected rain fall coming & snow melt, we are expecting that Route 23, both North and South will be closed once again. Unfortunately, we do not know when exactly this will happen, but are anticipating that Route 23 will flood at some point between early Wednesday (1/10/24) to early Thursday (1/11/24) and will be closed for an unknown amount of time.
