Flood Advisory until 12:00AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Schuylkill and York.

* WHEN...Until midnight EST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 556 PM EST, rain and snowmelt is occurring, and will continue to cause minor flooding, mainly in urban areas and small streams. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - The heavy rainfall should be over by 10 PM EST as a front pushes through from the west. Additional rainfall of 0.5 to 1 inches is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding in more areas. The larger creeks and rivers will be rising, but crests and impacts along them will take a few more hours. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
