Please be advised that Federal Road as well as Perrineville Road are now open.

The following roads remain closed:

1. Schoolhouse Road is closed between Buckelew Avenue and Perrineville Road due to a tree and wires across the roadway.
2. Dey Grove Road is closed between Bergen Mills Road and the Manalapan Township border due to a tree and wires across the roadway.
3. Union Hill Road is closed between Englishtown Road and Pension Road due to flooding.

School traffic information:

Schoolhouse Road between Buckelew Avenue and Perrineville Road is still closed. Anyone driving to the high school or the middle school from the north side of the township is asked to please follow the posted detour (Buckelew Avenue to Hoffman Station Road to Prospect Plains Road to Perrineville Road).

Please use caution while driving, follow posted detour signs and avoid the above stated roads if possible.

Currently there are approximately 350 residences still without power. JCP&L is already on location making the necessary repairs in order to restore the power as soon as possible.
 
Safety Tips:
- Always assume that all downed power lines are live!
- If you come across a flooded roadway, please don't drive through it. Turn around and report it to the police department.
