* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...South Fork Catawba River at Lowell.
* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Between 14 and 15.5 feet, The South Fork Catawba may be flooding several roads in the Cramerton area, including Cramer Mountain Rd. along Duharts Creek, Riverside Dr., 8th Ave. near the South Fork Masonic Lodge and adjacent park, and Greenwood Pl. near Lakewood Park. The Cramerton Fire Department, Cramerton Drug Company, and the South Fork Masonic Lodge may also flood. Floodwaters may be approaching the Cramerton Police Department parking lot. Impacts may be similar to those associated with flooding on March 21st, 2003.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM EST Wednesday the stage was 14.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:15 AM EST Wednesday was 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.4 feet this evening.
