Winter Weather Advisory until 11:00PM Saturday

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches in valleys and 6 to 12 inches in higher elevations. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Humboldt County, Northern Lander County and Northern Eureka County, Southwest Elko County and South Central Elko County.

* WHEN...From 10 PM Friday to 10 PM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While there is still some question behind snowfall amounts, the ingredients for hazardous weather conditions during the advisory periods are there. The combination of snow and strong winds are the greatest concern.
