The Green Bay Police Department has spoken with the family of the victim of the 1700 block Western Avenue homicide. We can share that person is Michael Hubbard, 30, Green Bay.
Hubbard was found deceased on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the residence of Owen Backus, 45, Green Bay, who was charged by the Brown County District Attorney’s Office on December 21, 2023:
- 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide
- Bail Jumping - Misdemeanor
The investigation is ongoing.
