WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM FRIDAY TO NOON CST SATURDAY

Winter Storm Warning issued January 11 at 1:36PM CST until January 13 at 12:00PM CST by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 13 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph causing blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Wisconsin.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Friday to noon CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will
impact the morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There may be a lull in the heavier snow
from late morning through mid-afternoon.
Instruction: If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
