Blizzard Warning until 06:00AM Saturday

* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph on Friday afternoon and Friday night. For the Blizzard Warning, blizzard conditions expected. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph Friday afternoon and night.. For the Wind Chill Warning, dangerously cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 45 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Iowa and southwest Minnesota.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 6 PM this evening to 10 AM CST Friday. For the Blizzard Warning, from 10 AM Friday to 6 AM CST Saturday. For the Wind Chill Warning, from 6 PM Friday to noon CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
