* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 5 PM MST this afternoon. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 11 PM this evening to 5 PM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage. The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 45 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
