A powerful storm system moving from the North Pacific into the Bering Sea by Saturday morning will bring another round of very strong winds to the Alaska Peninsula. The strongest winds are expected through Friday night before diminishing overnight into early Saturday morning. Winds will then turn westerly and increase again with sustained winds of 30 to 45 mph with gusts to 65 mph possible from around noon Saturday through late Saturday evening.
