Storm Report 1/12/2024. Rain, 40mph Wind, Flooding & Possible Power Loss, Prepare Today, Snow Tuesday
Happy Friday!
Another Friday, another storm. Be prepared for flooding, lots of rain on already saturated conditions and loss of power due to falling trees.
Look for wind gusts over 40 mph. Rain and wind will begin tonight after 6 and work well into Saturday. All this is subject to change based on ever changing weather patterns.
Spend more time this weekend preparing for the possibility of snow early in the week. Find the shovels, gas the snow throwers, wake your teenagers. They may be doing some light shoveling.
West Windsor Officers will be monitoring conditions throughout the weekend. If you see closed roadways, TURN AROUND DON'T DROWN. Public Works crews are already out clearing storm drains and preparing for flooding conditions. Please do not put yard debris in the roadway. It will not be picked up and in case of snow conditions next week, branches become a serious safety hazard.
Stay safe, dry & warm!
