An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of Markell Toombs-Reed on January 26, 2023. On Thursday, January 11, 2024, Kevin Fortuna, age 18, was arrested for On View Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence and he was booked into the Randall County Sheriff’s Detention Center. This investigation is still ongoing.
