LOCATION: 29000 Block of Sutter Rd, Lucerne Valley, CA
SUSPECT(S): Dustin Schneider, 30-years-old, resident of Crestline
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Twin Peaks Station, received numerous reports of vehicle burglaries in the Crestline area within the last few weeks. As part of an extensive investigation, detectives determined Dustin Schneider to be the suspect involved in these crimes.
On Thursday, January 11, 2024, personnel from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Twin Peaks Station, served a search warrant at a residence in Lucerne Valley where Schneider was staying. A large amount of stolen property was recovered during the execution of the search warrant. Some of the recovered property included a stolen firearm, stolen credit cards and identification cards, as well as equipment used to commit fraud.
Dustin Schneider, who was on San Bernardino County Probation for similar crimes, was arrested on nine felony charges and two misdemaenor charges. Schneider was booked into West Valley Detention Center with bail set at $1,000,000.
