At approximately 9:45 pm Hardeeville Police responded to the Deluxe Inn on Whyte Hardee Blvd for a report of a male gunshot Victim. While responding, officers located the suspects vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle fled from officers on Speedway Blvd. During the pursuit, the suspect lost control of his vehicle and wrecked near the Waste Management on Speedway Blvd. Officers attempted to locate the suspect by utilizing an arial drone and a K9 team. Search has been suspended at this time and the suspect remains at large. This appears to be an isolated event. The victim has been transported to an area hospital to be treated for injuries. We would like to urge anyone in the community who may have witnessed this incident to contact Lt. J. Michaud of the Hardeeville Police Department to come forward with any information that may assist in this investigation. We will update the community as we receive more information.
