* WHAT...For the Blizzard Warning, blizzard conditions. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to one inch. For the Wind Chill Warning, dangerously cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 45 below zero at times.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, and northeast Iowa.

* WHEN...For the Blizzard Warning, until 6 AM CST early this morning. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 6 AM this morning to 6 PM CST this evening. For the Wind Chill Warning, from 6 PM this evening to noon CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact travel throughout today. The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Iowa Department of Transportation reports travel not advised across much of central Iowa, with some roads impassable due to blowing and drifting snow. Towing is not recommended over the much of the area so you may be stranded if an accident occurs.
