* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to 2 inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph. For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches with locally up to 18 inches across northern areas. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...La Garita Mountains Above 10000 Feet.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 5 PM MST this afternoon. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 5 PM this afternoon to 5 PM MST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A lull in the snowfall can be expected late this morning through early afternoon, however strong gusty winds will result in areas of blowing and drifting snow before heavier snow spreads back in late this afternoon and evening.
