* WHAT...Heavy snow with periods of freezing rain expected. Additional snow accumulations of up to 3 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...From Anvik west.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM AKST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Large snow drifts will form. Ice will accumulate on many surfaces and could cause power lines to fail.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Conditions have improved briefly this morning, but heavy snow will resume later today. There will be periods of freezing rain through Saturday.
