* WHAT...Lake effect snow, heavy at times. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches but localized amounts of up to one foot possible. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest and west central Michigan.
* WHEN...Until noon EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow showers may diminish somewhat this afternoon but then intensify again tonight. Intense snow bands are expected to becoming oriented near the I-96 corridor between Muskegon and Lansing. Wind chill temperatures will fall to zero to 10 below tonight.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MUSKEGON ... OTTAWA ... KENT ... IONIA ... ALLEGAN ... BARRY ... VAN BUREN ... KALAMAZOO
