...WIND CHILL WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH
TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. For Sunday morning, wind
chills as low as 10 below zero. For Monday and Tuesday mornings,
wind chills as low as 15 below zero.

* WHERE...The South Plains, Rolling Plains, and the far southern
Texas Panhandle.

* WHEN...For the first Wind Chill Advisory, from 6 PM this evening
to noon CST Sunday. For the second Wind Chill Advisory, from 6 PM
Sunday to noon CST Monday. For the Wind Chill Watch, from Monday
evening through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Exposed skin may become quickly frostbitten or frozen.
Wind chill values may fall to extremely dangerous levels. The cold
wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not
taken.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid outdoor activities if possible. Use caution while outside and
wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Several layers of warm
clothing will keep you warmer than a single heavy coat.

Plan to keep pets indoors as much as possible.
