* WHAT...Lake effect snow showers. Additional snow accumulation ranging from 1 inch to locally up to 4 inches. Potential for this accumulation to occur in a very short period. Westerly winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland and Macomb Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Coverage and intensity of snow showers expected to increase again tonight. Any heavier bursts of snow will bring a rapid reduction of visibility and a quick accumulation on roadways. Gusty winds from the west will contribute to the blowing of any falling snow.
