This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

DAY ONE...Tonight.
Exceptionally cold temperatures will arrive this evening. Wind chills will fall below zero across North Texas, with temperatures falling into the single digits in some areas.

If you have yet to prepare your home for the cold temperatures, you`ve got the rest of this afternoon to ensure all last minute preparations are completed. Protect any outdoor pipes and let indoor faucets drip during the prolonged sub-freezing temperatures.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Exceptionally cold temperatures will continue through Wednesday morning. Wind chill values will fall below zero at times, with low temperatures in the teens and single digits Sunday night through Wednesday morning.

A wintry mix is expected Sunday afternoon through midday Monday. While accumulations will be light, impacts to untreated surface roads are expected.
